Saving a gym floor

The hardwood flooring lifted up from this gymnasium surface's concrete pad. The pooling water from the burst water line ran along the wall and seeped between the joints. Our WRT, Water Damage Restoration Techs, quickly removed the bulk of the water, and then utilized a mat drying attachment to suction the hidden water under the wood. Though there was buckling, this significantly mitigated the water damage and allowed for the wood flooring to be restored. The gym remained functional, and this professional action kept the cost down since replacement of the planks were not needed. We used dehumidifiers to return the RH (relative humidity) to normal levels and used moisture sensors and hygrometers to verify this successful completion.
